Steel City introduces its new mid-size, 5-speed granite
lathe (model 60170G). The 5-speed mini-lathe has a powerful 1/2
HP TEFC motor with speeds of 500, 1300, 2100, 2750 and 3600 RPM
for a wide range of turning operations. It features a solid
granite bed and headstock, a 12-inch swing over the bed with 27
inches between centers, for ample capacity without the need for
a bed extension. Other features include a push button switch,
6-inch tool rest, ball bearing live center #2 MT, spur center,
3-inch faceplate, knockout bar, 1-inch 8 TPI R.H. thread,

10 Year Tool Warranty |
|
Hitachi Power Tools today announced its new 10-Year Lithium
Ion Tool warranty. This Industry Leading 10-year Lithium Ion
tool warranty is retroactive and applies to Lithium Ion tools
purchased since their initial launch back in August of 2006.
Hitachi customers who purchased applicable Cordless Lithium Ion
tools before this 10-year warranty announcement will
automatically be covered and are not required to register or
re-register their tools.
