Charlie Gowen, Elfros, SK

Charlie made this oak buffet, along with a set of chairs and a table, from the plans in Issues # 34, 35 and 36 of Canadian Woodworking Magazine.

Nice work Charlie.

Vic Gallifors, Acton, ON

Vic needed something inconspicuous to cover up his propane tank. The tank, now locomotive, has wheels cut to scale out of 1/2" plywood on the band saw. The smoke stack is a water pipe held on by magnets. The steam pipe going to the pistons is an old exhaust pipe taken off his truck, and the cowcatcher (on the front of the loco') is made from electric conduit held on with PL Premium glue. Choo Choo.
