Click here to watch an introductory
 video of the Galbert Caliper

Designed by well known chair maker Peter Galbert, the Galbert Caliper is a  "Turner's Tape Measure". It gives a constant, accurate reading of the diameter of a work piece as it is cut.

The operator simply presses the caliper against the turning stock, and a spring loaded arm indicates the initial dimension of the stock. The operator then begins turning, and simply stops cutting when the desired diameter is reached. There is no need to set multiple tools and use them in the correct locations. The reading range on the caliper is from 1/2" to 2 1/2" when working on a round 2 3/4 inches or less.

Introductory pricing is $79.50 plus shipping.
