Sienci Labs Launches the LongMill Benchtop CNC Router Kickstarter Campaign

LongMill Benchtop CNC

Established in 2016, Sienci Labs set a goal of making CNC technology more accessible to makers like you.

Their first goal was to create a small but powerful open-source desktop CNC kit that was perfect for beginners and people who wanted to explore CNC as a hobby.

In August 2016, they launched a successful Kickstarter raising over $60,000 to build the first batch of Sienci Mill One CNC machines.

People loved the Sienci Mill One for it's simplicity, and affordability, but wanted a way to do larger projects. That's why they created the LongMill.

The LongMill comes in a variety of sizes, depending on rail length. Current sizes are 12" x 12", 12" x 30" and 30" x 30".

With larger extruded aluminum rails, fully supported Y-axis, 1/4" steel gantries on all axes, and high precision MG-12 type linear guides on the Z-axis, the LongMill is the most powerful CNC router in its class and price point.

The LongMill helps you take your woodworking and fabrication to the next level. Its range of workable materials include: any species of wood, a variety of plastics, soft metals like aluminum and brass, and a variety of machinable foams and waxes for model making or metal casting.
