Grade 8 students at the Broadview Public School in Westboro, Ottawa were asked to pick their favourite Canadian artist and then create a sculpture in the style of the artist. Each project houses an electronic device and has the possibility of housing a pneumatic device.

All of the approximately 235 grade seven and students will pass will pass through the Arts Program by the time they graduate. Under the direction of Fabio Cattelan, the arts teacher, the students are taught how to draw plans and transform the concepts into tangible forms. They are taught how to use machines safely, how to shape and bend wood, and how to paint and stain wood.
