Harrowsmith Magazine launches new website

Harrowsmith Magazine

Editor-in-Chief of Harrowsmith magazine, Jules Torti, is thrilled to share the launch of a new one-click source for instant inspiration: www.harrowsmithmag.com

Harrowsmith has been expanding its 100% Canadiana brand in bold new directions. Eager to create an engaging and intimate online community for our followers, this smartly redesigned website offers an interactive platform showcasing Harrowsmith’s longstanding pillars: Gardening, Food + Recipes, Travel + Culture, Home + Design and Environment.

Visitors to the site will find even more of the quintessential Harrowsmith stuff they love from DIY tutorials, gardening intel and recipe files that promise to take the heat off hosting surprise dinner guests. As an expansion of our magazine content, there are short videos and podcasts that can be tapped into from any device.

Publisher, Yolanda Thornton says, "We are excited about so many things as of late, but especially our return to full-size magazine for our Winter 2017-18 issue that will be on newsstands November 20th. Our re-launched website is part of this celebration, allowing us to provide a contemporary canvas for home renos, climate change, archives and ongoing contests for readers.”

Returning to full size magazine publication will increase the brand's recognition and prominence on the newsstand.  Advertisers will be keen to capitalize on a magazine that is dedicated to Canadian-made products. Our Things We Love section is a colorful wish list of artisan products, tools and books. With a growing audience of dedicated gardeners, hobby farmers, weekend woodworkers, Instagrammers, self-proclaimed chefs, explorers and design mavens, the Harrowsmith community is a rich resource of brand ambassadors, open to innovative products associated with a simpler lifestyle.

About Harrowsmith: Published three times a year in print and digital editions (Spring, Fall, Winter) with a digital-exclusive Summer issue, Harrowsmith sold over 46,000 copies of its spring and fall issues in 2016. Satisfying both rural and urban readers alike, the brand revolves around sustainability, regardless of where you call home.
