New Sawstop Table Saw Options Coming Late Summer

New Sawstop Table Saw Options

Tualatin, Oregon - April 25, 2017:  SawStop today announced the development of a new line of options for their cast iron table saws. Anchored by a new line of router tables, the launch will also include a large format sliding table, a steel folding outfeed table and a floating dust collection guard. All the new options are scheduled to launch in late Summer, 2017.

“Our goal is to improve the woodworking experience for every SawStop operator,” said Paul Carter, SawStop’s EVP of Sales and Marketing. “With each of these new options, we’ve worked hard to respond to customer requests for seamless integration, smoother operation, and consistent reliability, while offering the quality and customer care that are SawStop hallmarks.”

Options Summary:

The new SawStop line of heavy-duty router tables will feature SawStop-optimized in-line options and freestanding cast iron tables in both benchtop and floor-stand configurations, in addition to a new four-post, chain drive router lift. The in-line cast-iron tables will be unique in the industry, as they are engineered to install between the rails of a new 36” or 52” Contractor Saw, Professional Cabinet Saw or Industrial Cabinet Saw, making full use of the extension table area.

The Large Format Sliding Table is designed to help SawStop operators cut sheet goods and larger stock easily, with maximum control and sure measurement. A rigid steel frame and 14 sealed steel bearings provide a reliable, smooth glide, and maximum adjustability affords both traditional and Euro configurations for a maximum crosscut of 70 inches.

The SawStop Folding Outfeed Table is engineered from steel and sized to match the width of your cast iron table and wings. The table is designed for easy adjustability and maximum glide, with strategically-placed rollers to smooth operation. Compatible with all SawStop Cast Iron Table Saw mobile bases, the Folding Outfeed Table quickly stows for easy table saw movement.

SawStop is offering the Floating Dust Collection Guard to maximize configuration choices. This heavy-duty 4” overarm is designed to provide user protection while removing table-top dust in both standard and non-through cuts. The overarm is engineered to swing easily up and away for blade access, and then to easily swing back into operation.

Pricing on all new options will be announced closer to product availability, and more information on these new options is available at sawstop.com/options.
