Mississauga, On. (August 18, 2015) – SBD Canada is pleased to announce that on August 18 its employees will be participating in the Habitat for Humanity Adopt-a-Day Challenge GTA.

The Habitat GTA Adopt-a-Day Challenge is an ideal opportunity for Stanley Black & Decker employees to share their skills and time with individuals working toward the goal of homeownership. We will be working on the Torbram Road, Brampton build and, after our day on the site, the DEWALT and Stanley tools used in the build will be donated to Habitat GTA.

Joe Di Ilio, President of Stanley Black & Decker Canada, says, “Our involvement with Habitat GTA is a significant part of the company’s 100 Days of Giving campaign. Not only will our employees be able to brush-up their construction skills, we will all leave with a greater sense of pride and accomplishment.

“Stanley Black & Decker’s commitment to our communities goes back hundreds of years. The company has long supported the institutions and organizations that make the world a better place and we pledge to maintain that commitment into the future. Together we can help build a better tomorrow.”
