EeeZee Mitre Angle Divider

Lead photo: Measuring inside corner

If your woodworking involves a lot of angle work, then you’ll want to have a look at the EeeZee Miter Angle Divider. The EeeZee is essentially a parallelogram attached by locking pivot nuts to a T slot. You move the parallelogram along the T slot, adjusting it to measure the angle of an inside or outside corner. You can then transfer the measurement directly to your miter or table saw. Quick, easy, and simple. When folded the EeeZee takes up little space, about 1" x 1 ½" x 13". This is a practical, rugged tool that you can leave in your toolbox; being made of aluminum and brass it won’t rust. I found that for work that doesn’t require a high level of precision, this tool works well. I used it when installing baseboard and crown moulding to tranfer cut angles to my miter saw and it helped speed up installation time. However, I did find the laser engraved markings to be quite jagged and hard to see, even under good lighting. I also found that the parallelogram often snagged when moving along the T slot. To facilitate drawing lines I would have preferred squared edges on the arms rather than rounded over edges. But, for $49.95 + $10 S&H this makes a decent buy. The web site has a visit of photos on using the EeeZee. Call 519-758-8750, or www.signsanddesigns.ca/miter.html
