Trend Skeleton Hinge Jig helps hang doors quickly

Trend Skeleton Hinge Jig (Part #H/JIG/C) helps hang doors quickly, efficiently and accurately with minimum set up. The new hinge jig is manufactured from two-piece aluminum extrusion and it is ideal for onsite construction fitting wooden doors in new or existing frames. The jig is suitable for 6’5” to 6” 10” internal, external or fire doors.

The beauty of the hinge jig is in its simplicity and almost infinite adjustability. Fully adjustable aperture blocks allow the setting of hinge lengths without the need for a separate guide and there is no excess hardware. Setting the hinge length and widths is simple and intuitive.

The edge guide sets hinges from ½’ to 35mm and there are presets to 20mm, 25mm and 30mm widths. Swivel end plate sets the jig position and bradawls are used to secure the jig to the door.

Once the jig is set, recesses are easily routed and hinges are squared utilizing a Trend corner chisel.

The Trend Skeleton Hinge Jig comes equipped with router bit, bradawls, a 16mm guide bushing and a heavy-duty carrying case and it sells for $299 through authorized Trend distributors.
